About Us

In an era of information overload, capturing attention is one thing—but creating meaningful connections requires strategy and craft.

Originally founded in 2012 as a commercial production company, we spent our early years mastering high-end commercial and broadcast production, delivering hundreds of screen projects for a diverse roster of agencies and brands. Yet, we continually found ourselves drawn to the projects that tackled complex human challenges and sought to make a genuine difference.

Through this work, we recognised a crucial dynamic. While short-form content is effective for capturing attention or generating awareness, it rarely changes behaviour. To truly shift social norms, educate at scale, and build empathy, audiences require the depth of character-driven storytelling. When people connect emotionally, they bypass their own barriers and defensiveness, becoming open to new ideas and ways of thinking.

This insight became the driving force behind our evolution. In 2019, we relaunched as Venn—deliberately refining our focus by integrating our deep expertise in screen production with strategic design. Central to this is a methodology that enables us to craft narratives designed to engage audiences on a range of complex policy, health, and social issues.

Today, we partner with organisaitons across the for-purpose sector to turn complexity into human stories. From strategic documentaries and scripted educational dramas to impactful campaigns, we blend strategic design with screen craft to move audiences from awareness to measurable action.
